CI Global Asset Management brings Metaverse and Blockchain ETFs to Canada
According to a news statement issued on May 3, the CI Galaxy Metaverse ETF (CMVX) and the CI Galaxy Blockchain ETF (CBCX) will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange today. Furthermore, both ETFs have a 0.50 percent cost ratio.
Companies, investors, celebrities, and others are clamoring for metaverse and blockchain, two transformative technologies. As investors pour millions of dollars into these breakthrough technologies, interest in metaverse and blockchain grows.
Executive Vice-President and Head of Distribution for CI GAM, Roy Ratnavel, stated:
“Our ETFs provide investors with low-cost, convenient, and diversified exposure to the growth potential of these rapidly developing, leading-edge sectors.”
CI Global Asset Management’s metaverse and blockchain ETFs will allow investors to invest in top firms in the metaverse and blockchain areas.
Firms involved in augmented reality and virtual reality, gaming and entertainment, and payments are among the companies targeted by the metaverse ETF.
Similarly, the blockchain ETF focuses on bitcoin miners, purchasers, and firms that support the blockchain ecosystem.
In North America, Canada is leading the race for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
While US authorities continue to be tight on crypto and bitcoin ETFs, Canada seems to be ahead of the game in terms of innovation. Purpose Investments is the first company to offer a Bitcoin ETF in Canada.
In collaboration with Galaxy Digital, CI Global Asset Management has also established a Bitcoin ETF. In addition, the business has developed the CI Galaxy Multi-Crypto ETF, which offers Bitcoin and Ether access.
